Yesterday, Lucy Hale(Aria) tweeted a video of herself and Troian Bellisario (Spencer) doing a little ballet on set:
“In honor of PLL tonight, here is Troian attempting to teach me ballet last year during a take. This is too hysterical.”
We love to see that when the cameras are off (well, some of them), the actors get to take a break from the high-intensity insanity that is PLL. There’s nothing like a good dance break to relieve some stress.

On Learning From Her Mistakes:
“[The old Lucy] was confused. I would say things I wouldn’t normally say, or date people I knew I shouldn’t be dating, or go places I know I shouldn’t be at—just making bad decisions and mistakes. Not to say I still don’t make mistakes all the time, but I feel like I’m heading in the right direction.”Recovering On Her Eating Disorder:
“I’m so unbelievably lucky that I’m not like that anymore because it is a horrible way of life and it’s miserable. It consumes everything you think about and you can’t pursue things you want to do…I used to spend so many wasted days being depressed and feeling gross….I learned you have to be happy. People who are the happiest are the most beautiful.”Lucy On Staying Positive:
“I’ve weeded out the negative people and now only surround myself with people who uplift me…I know what I have to offer and I feel good about it…I never understood jealousy. I’m a girls’ girl. I want to be happy for you and root for you. Everyone’s given different gifts and different blessings for a reason and I just think that so much wasted energy goes into [jealousy]. All the energy you use for being jealous could have been used for something really great.”On Her New Music:
“My album is something I’m really, really, reallyproud of. I’ve intentionally been quiet about it because I want the music to speak for itself. People are either going to love it or hate it. But I think that once they hear it, they’ll be like, ‘Okay, she loves this and is serious about it.’ This is my pride and joy—it’s my baby! I worked my butt off on it.”On Chris Zylka:
“I was just telling [my best friend] the other day that I don’t know what it’s going to take for me to want to date someone again. It just seems so exhausting. When I like someone, I fall really hard and I invest everything. When it’s gone, I’m like ‘I’m never doing that again!’”
I’ve also added some high quality candids of her leaving the gym yesterday.
How to Get that Lucy Hale Look
Lucy Hale is one of the most fashionable actresses today that’s why many young girls look up to her and copy her style. Born in Memphis, Lucy is best known for her role as Aria in the hit TV series Pretty Little Liars aired on ABC Family. Her first television appearance was in American Juniors, which is Fox Network’s spin-off of the singing contest American Idol. Lucy proved to everyone that she can definitely sing and later on showed off her acting skills by landing important roles in several television series including Bionic Woman, Privileged, and in the smash horror flick Scream 4.
Most girls nowadays have become fashion conscious especially when they are around cute guys. Even while playing their favorite games online such as those at Cheekybingo, these girls want to look great. You will never know when a cutie will sit beside you at the café and join you playing bingo right? It is important to look stylish even during casual settings. So here are some ways on how you can get that Lucy Hale look:
Mini dress and leather jacket
There was a scene in the Season 3 of Pretty Little Liars where Aria wore an ASOS blue lace mini dress covered up with a Mango motorcycle jacket. You can also get that tough girly look by matching any dress and a leather jacket. The dress collection of W118 by Walter Baker is more affordable and you can dig up your mom’s vintage clothes for a cool leather jacket.
Denim jacket and geometric jeans
Lucy Hale was spotted wearing a Theory denim jacket with leather sleeves paired with a funky BDG geometric jeans. You can also have that same look by stitching up patches or fabrics on your skinny jeans to add more colors. Any denim jacket will look awesome in that outfit.
Ruffled top and blue jeans
The combination of lime ruffled blouse, silk scarf, and blue jeans is both simple and flattering. Lucy Hale wore this ensemble on TV matched with a Rebecca Minkoff blue bag. This is a flexible outfit because you can wear any plain blouse with ruffles on the edge, wrap a printed scarf around your neck, and put on a wide belt around the blouse. Make sure to match the color of the belt to your jeans.
Entertainment Weekly has released some photos of the Pretty Little Liars girls from their photoshoot! Lucy looks absolutely beautiful, and I loved her outfits. Make sure you guys view the 2 images I’ve uploaded from the shoot:

When it came time to dress Pretty Little Liars stars Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell and Troian Bellisario for this week’s issue of EW, stylist Emma Trask called on the ABC Family show’s costume designer Mandi Line for pointers.
“I spoke to Mandi and she described the vibe that she goes for on the show,” says Trask. “What we ended up with is a blend of [each girl's] personal style and the look of her character.”
Trask and EW Senior Associate Photo Editor Matthew Levinson sifted through photos from teen queen classics like Clueless, The Craft, and Heathers looking for inspiration, finally settling on Mean Girls as a reference point for the cover shot.
In addition to the “nude, pastel palette” for the cover photo, Trask also pulled a variety of colorful dresses and metallic pieces for the shoot. “[We also did] a jewel-toned look, because it pops,” Trask says of the above photo of Hale (in Mandalay), Benson (in Ted Baker), Mitchell (in Issa), and Bellisario (in Bao Tranchi).
The Pretty Little Liars co-stars are on the cover of this week’s Entertainment Weekly! The girls all look seriously so beautiful, and I hope somehow more photos are released. You can view the cover page in our gallery below, and make sure to buy your own copy.

Television isn’t just about ratings anymore. Now networks are fighting to earn the “most social” title for their hit shows, and one of the savviest series in the social media universe is the over-the-top teen mystery Pretty Little Liars. The ABC Family phenomenon and its digitally-inclined stars — Lucy Hale, 24; Ashley Benson, 24; Shay Mitchell, 26; and Troian Bellisario, 28 — are changing how networks measure success, one photobomb, tweet, status update, and Keek video at a time.
Some of the of their posts may be related to the ABC Family drama, where the girls play an atypically glamorous high school foursome tormented by anonymous and cunning cyberbullies out to punish the friends of a dead queen bee. But the cast’s real gift is for unleashing more personal-flavored details — a video of Benson slinking around to Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend” with person-of-interest James Franco; photos of Hale in the studio recording her country album — that serve as a dose of gossip-crack for viewers and fans, which keeps them clicking and tuning in. Pretty Little Liars draws 3.8 million viewers each week, while also maintaining a colossal digital footprint of more than 10 million likes onFacebook, a Twitter handle (@ABCFpll) with a million-plus followers, and four stars who collectively reach more than 5.5 million with a tweet or retweet. (Hale alone boasts 2.2 million Twitter followers.)
Just in time for Social Media Week — going on right now in NYC — EW explores how Pretty Little Liars cracked the social-media code, and how other series hope to learn from their success. Plus we get the cast and exec producer I. Marlene King to preview the remaining episodes – Emily becomes a detective! Spencer goes crazy! “Red Coat” will be revealed! — as PLL heads to its third season finale on March 19.
For more on Pretty Little Liars and the social-media phenomenon around it, pick up the new issue of Entertainment Weekly, on stands February 22.
It’s not uncommon for stars of the small screen to dip their toes into the music industry: Miley Cyrus started on Disney’s Hannah Montana before she become a full-fledged recording artist; Gossip Girl‘s Leighton Meester dropped a handful of singles back in 2009 and 2010; and Shameless‘ Emmy Rossum just released her second album. Now you can add Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale to the mix, as the actress has been in Nashville for the past few weeks recording a country album while on hiatus before shooting her ABC Family show’s fourth season. (Season 3 is currently airing, and season 4 will launch in June.)
How does Hale describe the album? “It’s country,” she explains plainly, of what she’s recording. “We definitely have more mainstream songs, but then we have songs that are straight-up country.”
Hale is hoping that she surprises people with what she puts out. “I think it’s gonna shock a lot of people actually, so it’s really exciting.”
If you’re hoping to learn a song title or two now, though, prepare to be disappointed. “Oh my gosh, they won’t even let me release song titles,” she says. But one song in particular stands out to Hale, and she’s happy to talk about it a bit. “It’s a song about how I’ve always been a girl’s girl and I’ve always rooted for other girls and never had a problem with jealousy,” she says. “It’s just about the everyday battles that all women go through. It’s a uniting feeling for women and how that, at the end of the day, we’re all going through the same things. We should all be in it together.”
Could it be the next great country female anthem? “It’s really powerful and I think it will resonate with a lot of people and it shows me in a really vulnerable light and how I feel about myself,” she says, adding that it might just make you see her differently. “The image you see of me out in public is really different from who I am in real life. This is sort of an instant look at who Lucy really is. And I think that it’s a beautiful message.”
Hale says the music is coming soon — although the exact date is still TBD. “We’re hoping to have a single here in a couple of months — probably March or April. The album will come out this summer.”

Just when we thought the stars of Pretty Little Liars couldn’t get any cuter … they danced. More specifically, Sparia danced.
Here’s an interesting article of Lucy talking about PLL bloopers, co-stars, and her first album she’s working on!
Being a fan of Pretty Little Liars is a ride in itself, but can you imagine being one of the stars of the hit show? Lucy Hale (Aria) can. And she can tell you that any new TV show is a gamble. Is the cast going to click? Will the chemistry work on-screen? Luckily for PLL, the answer to both of those questions was yes.
Lucy spoke with The Christian Science Monitor about her thoughts when she first read the script: “When I read the script, and I was like ‘This is going to be great.’ I was like, ‘But four girls? This is going to be a nightmare.’ But I’m telling you, it is the perfect experience. We’re not all necessarily best friends off set, but we all respect each other. We all get along. And it’s sort of we go there, everyone’s professional, everyone’s ready to work and excited about it.”
But just because they’re all on this crazy ride together doesn’t mean that they’ll end up in the same place.
“I think we’re all going to have very different careers. And I think we’ve realized what we have to offer. But Ashley is definitely the girl that I’ll talk about clothes with or about guys or something, so she’s like my little gossip friend. Shay is into philanthropy work. She’s really big into charity. But she’s also good at home decor, so she’s always on Pinterest, and so we’ll talk about that. And then Troian is just brilliant. She’s very intelligent. She’s the friend that I’ll go to, to talk to about deeper stuff, I guess. So it’s fun to have a lot of different types of friends. It’s a good group of people,” Lucy said.
However, they’re together now, and they’re currently making a very popular TV show. Not too shabby, if you ask us.
And as someone who enjoys watching other shows in her spare time, Lucy reveals one of her favorite aspects of television:
“Oh, I love a good blooper reel, because I love to see… because our show is so intense all the time. And it’s really not when we’re shooting, because we’re goofing off and we’ll have to do something over and over again because we’re cracking up about something that happened before we started shooting. And so I love that kind stuff, because at the end of the day, you realize it’s real people and this is their job.”
And then there’s always the other side to Lucy: her music. We got to see Lucy sing once on the show, but now that she’s recording her first album, what can we expect from her musically?
“I grew up performing and singing. And acting, the idea of it just sort of fell into my lap. And I was a little hesitant at first, but I was like, okay, I’ll try it. And so I did and I got some luck in it, which is cool. That’s why I’m here. But I’m going back to why I got into it in the first place. And I think that, you know, just me talking about it that’s my passion. That’s what I want to do. I know I have a lot to prove just because it’s like here’s an actress who’s making an album. We’ve heard that story a million times before. But I think that once you hear the music, you hear how genuine it is, because I am writing it. And it’s been a fun experience. It’s been a year, and I’m just so excited. I’m doing country. I think people that know me and knew me before the show knew that I started in music. And being from Tennessee definitely helps. But it’s been great. I’m really excited for people to hear it.”

Lucy has been eyed as a huge favorite for the portrayal of Anastasia Steel in the film adaption of Fifty Shades of Grey, along with Ian Somerhalder as Christian Grey. But Nina Dobrev is hoping that Lucy won’t be the one to play Ana. Read the article below to find out why!
As we cruise on into 2013 casting rumors are heating up over the much anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. Hands down Ian Somerhalder is leading every poll out there as absolute fan favorite for being cast in the role of Christian Grey. The Vampire Diaries star also shot a series of short films recently that prove the actor most definitely can pull off the role of the sharply dressed, cut throat businessman with a penchant for whips and chains.
His real life love, Nina Dobrev also seems to think that her man would be absolutely perfect for the role, but she is none too happy with one of his potential costars. The role of Anastasia Steele is as pivotal as Mr. Grey and she needs to be portrayed by a young actress that can blur the lines between innocent and hardcore bad girl. A new name has surfaced amongst fans and they could be right, Lucy Hale might just BE Ana. The actress has heated up the screen in cult classic hit show, Pretty Little Liars for the last few seasons and she, no doubt is ready to prove that she can take on a very adult role.
The big problem for Nina? She knows that Lucy is exactly the type of girl that Ian goes for. She’s thin, dark haired, stunning and smart. She and Ian seem to be very tight for now and really seem to enjoy their time together but who can blame Nina for not wanting her man to get down and dirty with Lucy on a film set?

Pretty Little Liars’ Aria Montgomery may not have figured out just who A really is, but there’s no mystery to why we love Lucy Hale: The Memphis, Tennessee native is as sweet as she is smart. With the third season of PLL picking back up in January and a country album in the works, she sat down with Mickey Rapkin to talk life, love, and keeping a few things unsolved.
On moving to Hollywood: I didn’t have a friend for, like, two years[…] I’ve come out of my shell, but I was pretty shy. Some people take it as me being standoffish. On first reading the PLL script: I was like, ‘Are you guys sure this is ABC Family? There’s a lot of risque stuff happening.’ On PLL fervent fans: [Shay Mitchell and I] got to the airport in Brazil and there were like 500 people there with signs and gifts. How did they even know we were coming? On making an album: It’s absolutely terrifying. You only get one album. You only get one single. You get one shot in music. But I have a million different dreams. Why can’t I go out and try to achieve them all? Who are you to say I can’t? On the projects she’d like to take on next: I’m searching for something eye-opening. I love movies like 500 Days of Summer and Juno. Something offbeat without the glamour and the makeup and the clothing. On who she’d like A to be: I want it to be a Bonnie and Clyde thing. Where Aria and Ezra are in it together. Or Spencer and Toby. But something romantic, [where] you root for them [even though] they’re the bad guys.
Pretty Little Liars’ star Lucy Hale & San Francisco 49er Patrick Willis get real about Duracell’s Trust Your Power program.
As part of its ongoing Trust Your Power program, Duracell is donating $1 to a scholarship fund to send underprivileged and children of military from around the country to ProCamps every time #TrustYourPower is used in a tweet.
